Executive Director reports directly to the board of directors and works extensively with volunteers. The primary purpose of the position is to provide fundraising leadership and support. The executive director must have strong communication skills, both oral and in writing, and an understanding of basic fundraising techniques. The executive director will represent the United Way to the public and be highly involved in building and supporting the fundraising campaign organization.

Experience with marketing, publicity, and financial reporting is desirable.
