Elmer’s Teacher Tool Kit (up to $500): Closing Date 4/30/2012
K-12 Teachers in art, history, language, math, social studies, and science can apply for this grant to fund projects found in the Elmer’s Teacher Toolkit catalog.

Ms. Foundation Fellowship Program (up to $85,000 plus health benefits): Closing Date 4/30/2012
Work for the Ms. Foundation for Women in Brooklyn, New York in a full-time fellowship position beginning September 4th. Develop promising strategies to shift the cultural conditions that enable inequality to thrive.

Mary Kay Grant for Domestic Violence Shelter (up to $20,000): Closing Date 4/30/2012
Each year, the Foundation awards a grant to at least one domestic violence shelter in every state.

Foundation for Financial Planning: Closing Date 4/30/2012
Grants are awarded to nonprofit organizations for pro-bono advice and community outreach activities that help people take control of their financial lives by connecting the financial planning community to people in need.

Roadmaps to Health (up to $200,000 to be spent in 24 months): Closing Date 5/2/2012
Community grants to communities working to implement policy or system changes to address one of the social or economic factors that most strongly educate health outcomes (e.g. education, employment and income, family and social support, and community safety).

State Farm Youth Advisory Board (up to $100,000): Closing Date 5/4/2012
The Youth Advisory Board is currently funding service-learning projects that address the root cause of the following issue areas: Access to Higher Education/Closing the Achievement Gap, Financial Literacy, Community Safety and Natural Disaster Preparedness, Social Health & Wellness Issues, Environmental Responsibility. Youth Literacy Grants (up to $4,000): Closing Date 5/16/2012
Grants will be provided for the following initiatives: implementing new or expanding existing literacy programs; purchasing new technology or equipment to support literacy initiatives; and purchasing books, materials, or software for literacy programs.

Pulling Together Initiative Offers Funding to Help Control Invasive Plant Species (up to $75000): Pre-proposal due 5/18/2012
Administered by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, the Pulling Together Initiative provides funding for programs designed to help control invasive plant species, mostly through the work of public/private partnerships such as cooperative weed management projects.

American Psychiatric Foundation Accepting Applications for Helping Hands Grant Program (up to $5000): Closing Date 5/31/2012
The American Psychiatric Foundation’s Helping Hands Grant Program provides grants to medical schools for mental health and substance use disorder projects that are created and managed by medical students, particularly in underserved minority communities.
